Once post natal, always post natal!
Having children takes its toll on our body, not just physically but also mentally. Newborn babies are very dependent on mummy which can slow postnatal recovery and healing of abdominal separation due to lack of sleep, poor posture and sitting a lot whilst breast-feeding or baby sleeping on you.
When training with me we will focus on you. This will give you greater mindfulness of how you stand, carry yourself and your baby, putting you in a better postural position which aids healing.
We focus on:
We will focus on breathing, core activation with the breath, healing, abdominal separation through the use of connecting the core correctly. We will use physio bands, resistance bands in the early stages along with body weight exercises. Your tailored plan will change as your strength increases and will be adapted to your personal needs.
